Forearm tendinitis from typing, where do I even start

Copywriter, ten years, both forearms hurt, the right one radiates into the wrist. Some days I cannot hold a coffee cup without adjusting my grip. I came to this forum because I googled BPC-157 at midnight like everyone else. Having read the pinned threads I now understand I am supposed to answer four questions first and I can only answer one of them, so here I am asking. What does the beginner version of this look like for forearms specifically?

Currently typing with correct posture. Probably.

Get assessed first. Radiating wrist symptoms and grip weakness can mean nerve involvement, which needs a different approach than basic tendinopathy. That said, forearm flexors and extensors handle progressive loading well. Lower limb tendons take longer, but forearms usually respond fast once you manage the daily desk exposure.

Load is the drug with the best data.

Dealt with this for four years. Here is what tracked best for me and cost zero dollars: 1. Keyboard flat or negative tilt. Put the little feet down, those things are a trap. 2. Pull your mouse closer. My elbow pain was actually coming from shoulder abduction. 3. Use voice dictation for first drafts. Huge leverage for a copywriter. 4. Set a break timer so you do not sit for four hours straight. For rehab: light wrist extensor eccentrics. It feels uselessly easy for the first two weeks, but stick with the progression.

Measure it or it did not happen.

The keyboard feet thing is embarrassing. Mine have been flipped up since 2018. Dictating first drafts is actually a great idea, definitely going to try that.

Currently typing with correct posture. Probably.

Add grip work once you handle the eccentrics. Forearm capacity is your buffer here. Build stronger forearms and you fix the current issue while preventing the next one.

You cannot inject your way out of a bad program.

Quick 3-week update. Got assessed, turns out it is extensor tendinopathy with some neck involvement. I flattened the keyboard, started dictating, and stick to the eccentrics. Right arm feels noticeably better, left is unchanged. Glad I held off on buying stuff.

Currently typing with correct posture. Probably.

Having someone leave a peptide forum without spending a dime is a huge win. Glad you got a real assessment.

Read the pinned rules. They are short.
