BPC-157 vs TB-500, which one would you look at first?

Patellar tendinopathy, third flare, and I am having the consult conversation next week. If you had to pick one of these two to actually ask about, which and why? Not asking for doses. Asking how people reason about the choice.

Isometrics before ice. Every time.

BPC-157 wins on tendon-specific data. TB-500's in vivo load-bearing research is mostly ligament focused. If you're choosing one to run for patellar issues, BPC has the deeper file.

Preclinical is not a promise.

Agreed, with a reframe. The better question for your consult isn't which peptide to pick, but why you're on flare three. What changes in your loading plan this time? That is the higher yield conversation.

Load is the drug with the best data.

Fair hit. The pattern is I feel good, jump back into full volume too fast, and flare up at week six. I know I do it. Coaching myself is going terribly.

There it is. No peptide fixes a return to play progression you keep skipping. Set a hard cap on jump volume by week and make someone else enforce it.

You cannot inject your way out of a bad program.

Seconding that. I put my load progression in a shared sheet with my PT so I couldn't quietly edit it later. Sounds ridiculous, but it worked.

Measure it or it did not happen.

One practical note for the consult: bring your full med list, anticoagulant use, cancer history, and pregnancy plans. Those screening items dictate if the conversation even moves forward, and coming prepared saves time.

If the vial looks cloudy, the answer is no.
