Can you take peptides without working out?

Genuine question because I keep seeing people talk about BPC-157 like it fixes stuff on its own. I've got wrist and forearm tendinitis from years of typing and honestly the thought of doing eccentric exercises on top of an 8 hour workday sounds exhausting. Could I just run a peptide and let it do the work while I rest the arm? Or does that not work like that.

Currently typing with correct posture. Probably.

Short answer, it doesn't work like that if you're trying to fix a tendon. Peptides like BPC-157 are proposed to improve the biological environment, more blood flow, more collagen turnover, that kind of thing. But tendons remodel in response to load. Without some form of controlled loading you're not giving the tissue anything to build toward. Think of it as the peptide setting the table but nobody's eating the meal.

Load is the drug with the best data.

This. I see this exact question every few months. Tendon doesn't care how good your biology looks on paper if you never ask it to do anything. Even 3 sets of slow isometric holds a day beats a perfect peptide protocol with zero loading.

You cannot inject your way out of a bad program.

Different story if we're talking MOTS-C or NAD+ for general energy and recovery, not injury specific. I don't structure workouts around those, I just run them and see if my legs feel less trashed between hard blocks. But for actual tendon repair I get why loading matters more, you're basically telling the tissue what shape to remodel into.

Watts do not lie. Neither do lactate strips.

Every rat study people quote for BPC-157 and tendons used animals that were still moving around in their cages normally. The peptide was never the only variable, load was baked into every single one of those results. I track my own elbow stuff in a spreadsheet and the weeks I skipped my eccentrics were flat no matter what I was running. Weeks I did both, that's when the numbers moved.

Measure it or it did not happen.
