Cyclist, 49, interested in the energy side: MOTS-C, NAD+, and whether any of it changes how fast I bounce back between hard blocks.

Watts do not lie. Neither do lactate strips.

- Does glutathione raise testosterone?
What about stacking it with NAD+? I run NAD+ during heavy cycling blocks for energy, but I read that NAD+ creates cellular exhaust that glutathione has to clear out.

- Is GHK-Cu safe to use?
I tried a topical serum for scalp and skin after a tough summer riding block last year. Cosmetically it seemed fine, but I honestly could not tell if it did anything for general systemic recovery or soreness. That makes sense now seeing the lack of human systemic data.

- Does MOTS-c burn belly fat?
I used it during a training block last year. My endurance felt slightly more stable on long rides, but my waist measurement did not budge an inch.

- How to read a peptide study without deceiving yourself: preclinical versus animal versus human trials
Fair points, though animal studies still offer helpful hypotheses for tracking. Mind you, I once thought a protocol cured my cycling fatigue before realizing I'd just taken two extra rest days.

- What a legitimate telehealth review looks like and red flags to watch for
Makes sense, Ray. What labs should a real consult actually require though? For metabolic stuff like NAD+ my doc needed bloodwork, but people online claim tissue adjuncts don't need any.

- What will sermorelin do to your body?
Is it anything like Ozempic? A guy at my local bike shop swore they work on the same brain pathways for weight loss.

- What does glutathione peptide do for you?
I ran it alongside NAD+ during a heavy 12-week cycling block. Couldn't tell if it directly changed my body comp, but my recovery between back-to-back hard days felt less sluggish. My understanding is NAD+ drives the cellular engine and glutathione clears the exhaust.

- Evidence base for collagen, vitamin C, and protein timing in tendon recovery
Does that 45-minute window matter for long zone 2 cycling, or is the continuous blood flow enough to draw the aminos in?

- Achilles loading with diabetes or poor circulation: vascular checks come first
Interesting. In endurance training we use zone 2 to build capillary density in muscle. Does low-load work stimulate paratenon capillary growth in diabetics, or does microangiopathy block that?

- Can peptides compensate for bad sleep protein and low movement
Great point Dr. Releford. When I checked my cycling logs, bounce-back came down to carbs, hitting protein goals, and 2 good nights of sleep, not MOTS-C or NAD+.

- Using suspension trainers and kettlebells for joint friendly loading during tendon rehab
Carl, I have to push back on rigid schedules. As a cyclist pushing 50, following a fixed calendar when my Achilles is stiff in the morning just causes flare ups. You have to autoregulate based on morning feedback. Belle, do you prefer kettlebells for slow eccentrics or isometrics with older clients?

- Training around an injury without losing your mind or your physique
I can back this up from the endurance side. When my hamstring tendinopathy flared, I did three weeks of single-leg indoor trainer drills on my good leg. Kept my aerobic base intact without loading the bad side. I tried NAD+ precursors too, but honestly can't tell if they did anything compared to just getting 9 hours of sleep and sticking to my rehab loading protocol.

- MOTS-C, NAD+, glutathione: do these belong in an injury conversation at all?
Appreciate the honesty. I use them for endurance training, but honestly neither did a thing for my two tendon issues.

- MOTS-C, NAD+, glutathione: do these belong in an injury conversation at all?
Serious question rather than a provocation. This board exists, people are prescribed these, and I use two of them. MOTS-C is metabolic and mitochondrial. NAD+ is cellular energy pathways. Glutathione is antioxidant support. None of them are tissue repair peptides and none of them claim to be. So what is the actual argument for them being in an injury recovery conversation? Is it just "you are a body, everything is connected," which is true and also unfalsifiable? I am asking because I like these and I want to know if I am rationalizing.

- The TB-500 tendon data is thinner than the marketing suggests
Endurance question: does the anti-inflammatory angle do anything for that general beat-up feeling after a heavy block, outside of a specific injury?
