How long can I stay on TB500?

Hey everyone! I am working on recovery from a high hamstring strain that has been slowing down my workouts. I keep reading about people using TB-500 for muscle tissue and flexibility, but nobody seems to agree on a timeline! How long are people actually running this stuff, and when do you HARD STOP? I am already dialing in my 8 hours of sleep, hitting 130g of protein, and getting my daily steps, but I want to make sure I do not overstay my welcome on a peptide cycle. Thanks in advance!

Flourish, then fit.

From a clinical perspective, there are zero completed long-term human safety trials for TB-500. Community research protocols generally cap total duration at 4 to 8 weeks, often divided between an initial loading phase and a short maintenance phase. Continuous or indefinite use is strongly advised against because we simply have no chronic toxicity data in humans.

If the vial looks cloudy, the answer is no.

If you need to stay on it indefinitely, your rehab loading isn't working. Six weeks max before you take a step back and fix your actual movement.

Two years of patience beat six months of panic.

Nadia is spot on regarding the timeline. Mechanistically, TB-500 upregulates actin to help cells migrate for tissue repair, but it doesn't build structural tendon or muscle capacity on its own. If you don't use that 4 to 8 week window to progressively load the hamstrings, the tightness comes right back the moment you stop.

Load is the drug with the best data.

Wait, so what happens if someone stays on it past 8 weeks? Is it just that we don't know the risks, or is there a specific side effect people worry about?

Currently typing with correct posture. Probably.

To answer Dana: the main theoretical concern with extended use is uncontrolled angiogenesis. TB-500 promotes new blood vessel growth to help repair tissue, which is useful acute support for a fresh tear. However, forcing blood vessel proliferation long-term carries a theoretical risk of feeding undiagnosed precancerous cells or micro-tumors. That is on top of the general purity risks with unregulated research peptides. Stick to short 4 to 8 week windows at most, but honestly, your sleep and progressive eccentric loading are doing 90% of the actual work.

Evidence first, ego last.

Short cycles only. No shortcuts. What does your weekly eccentric hamstring progression look like right now? That is the real protocol.

Better body, better habits.

Spot on. People look for an endless magic bullet, but what works is a 6-week structured rehab program you actually finish. Adherence to the boring daily work is what gets results.

Decide. Commit. Succeed.
