What is better, NAD or glutathione?

What is better, NAD or glutathione? I have a few clients in my recovery groups asking about choosing between these two while navigating long-term physical rehab. They often get overwhelmed trying to pick the single 'best' molecule, which actually increases their re-injury anxiety and hurts their daily routine adherence. From a biological standpoint, how should we frame the difference between them?

Mind and body, same system.

It helps to frame them as biological partners rather than competitors. NAD+ acts as the cellular engine driving ATP production and DNA repair, while glutathione functions as the antioxidant shield clearing oxidative stress. In clinical practice we see them working in tandem rather than one replacing the other.

Independent primary care, whole person.

Framing it as an either-or decision is classic shiny-object syndrome. Neither one replaces eight hours of sleep or progressive loading. What does your actual daily rehab consistency look like right now?

Better body, better habits.

That is an important psychological distinction. Mechanistically, male patients often ask if glutathione will boost testosterone or melt visceral fat, but it simply protects Leydig cells from oxidative stress to maintain baseline hormone production. It is cellular defense, not an anabolic trigger.

Men's health, without the taboo.

That helps a lot. I was ready to spend my whole paycheck on NAD+ thinking it would magically fix my tendon timeline, but it sounds like my basic recovery sleep and physical therapy still matter way more.

Still here. Still slow.

Spot on! Focus on the fundamentals first! Hit your daily protein goals, get your steps in, and nail your sleep schedule before stressing over supplement stacks!

Flourish, then fit.
