My tendon got worse when I started loading, is that normal or did I screw up?

Been running BPC-157 sub-q locally at 250mcg twice daily for 3 weeks for extensor tendinitis in my right forearm. Everything was feeling great, barely any baseline ache, so I finally started eccentric loading with wrist curls like my PT suggested. Day 2 of loading and my forearm feels raw and hot again. Is a flare-up normal when you transition from rest to loading, or did I push too heavy too soon? Stacking with TB-500 2.5mg twice a week.

Currently typing with correct posture. Probably.

Tendon response to new mechanical load is standard. Isometrics for 45 seconds are usually better tolerated first before jumping straight to heavy eccentrics. Check your 24-hour response: if pain returns to baseline within 24 hours, you're fine.

Load is the drug with the best data.

Zero reason to panic. Tendons hate sudden spikes in volume. Drop the load by half, hit the isometric holds first, and let the BPC do its work in the background.

Discipline is the shortcut.

What's the actual weight you grabbed? People feel good on week 3 of BPC, jump straight to heavy dumbbells, and shock the tissue. Track the load, not just the pain.

Better body, better habits.

You didn't ruin anything. Soft tissue remodeling hurts. BPC increases collagen synthesis, but if you don't load it properly, that new tissue just sits there unaligned. Moderate pain during eccentrics is fine as long as it isn't sharp or lingering into the next morning.

Lost my career to a knee. Now I fix them.

No compound can rewrite tissue mechanotransduction. BPC accelerates cellular turnover, but tendon remodeling requires tensile force. If you aren't hitting 15 to 20 grams of collagen with vitamin C 45 minutes prior to loading, you're missing the nutritional trigger for that mechanical stimulus anyway.

Nutrition is a performance variable.

That makes a lot of sense. Pain was definitely down this morning compared to yesterday, so within that 24hr window Ray mentioned. I'll drop to isometric holds first.

That's how it works. Consistency over panic.

Discipline is the shortcut.

Isometrics are game changers for forearm tendinitis! Are you hitting your daily protein target and getting solid sleep? BPC and TB work so much better when your body actually has the building blocks to rebuild.

Flourish, then fit.

Disagree with dropping straight to iso holds if the pain cleared by morning. If it normalized in 24 hours, the load was adequate for adaptation. Keep the eccentrics, just keep the weight steady for another week.
