When did you decide you were actually ready to go back to your sport, not just pain free?

Been running BPC-157 at 250mcg sub-q twice daily alongside TB-500 at 2.5mg twice a week for my patellar tendon for about six weeks now. The nagging deep ache is completely gone during daily life and light jogs. But mentally and physically, how did you know it was time to actually sprint, jump, or play full contact again instead of just riding the pain-free high? I am terrified of re-tearing the second I push it past 80%.

Still here. Still slow.

Pain-free at rest or on a flat jog means your inflammation is down, not that the collagen matrix is fully remodeled for dynamic load. When I blew my knee out on the field, I thought zero pain meant green light. It doesn't. You need objective strength tests. Single-leg hop distance, heavy eccentrics with zero lag the next morning, and symmetry. Peptides accelerate tissue repair, but if you haven't loaded the tendon heavily under high tension, you are stepping onto a landmine.

Lost my career to a knee. Now I fix them.

You don't guess, you test under stress. When I was coming off a tear preparing for a fight, I didn't care that the leg felt fine sitting around after four weeks on BPC. I put it through test phases: heavy slow resistance, then isometric holds, then explosive plyos. If a training block passes with zero structural hesitation under maximal force, you go back to work. Pain is a terrible metric. Capability is the only metric.

Discipline is the shortcut.

Pain-free is just the baseline to start real work. What does your progressive load ramp actually look like this week? Stop guessing and track your output.

Better body, better habits.

That's placebo mate if you think zero pain on a light jog equals tissue readiness. BPC quiets the signal fast, but mechanical load is what aligns the fibers.

Evidence first, ego last.
