I'm a researcher and trainer focused on making science accessible and useful to the people who need it most. My academic background includes a doctorate in fisheries and aquaculture along with graduate and undergraduate degrees in aquatic science, and I've spent much of my career consulting for international development organizations. I've trained more than a thousand scientists across the continent in scientific writing and communication, and I co-founded a hub that has taught hundreds of smallholder farmers sustainable, climate-smart practices. My goal has always been closing the gap between research and the people who can actually put it to use.

- How do I bring up peptide therapy with my surgeon?
Ask for the reasoning every time, vague answers aren't good enough.

- Will peptides interfere with my anesthesia or post-op medications?
Would love to see even a small retrospective case series on this eventually.

- Where to actually source legit peptides post surgery
I get the thousands of logs argument people make for the research chem route generally, but post surgical use is a different risk calculation entirely. One bad vial into an open wound isn't the same as one bad vial for a sore ankle.

- How do I bring up peptide therapy with my surgeon?
Mostly preclinical and animal data from what I recall, worth being upfront about that when presenting it. A surgeon asking for human trial data isn't being difficult, that's a fair question.

- Wolverine stack before shoulder surgery, worth it?
I'd push back a little on treating forum logs the same as controlled data though. Anecdote is useful for direction, it's just not proof the combination beats either compound run alone.

- Where to actually source legit peptides post surgery
Anecdote helps but I'd still want an independent COA on every single batch before trusting it near a wound.

- Where to actually source legit peptides post surgery
If pharmacy access is closed off for a specific compound and someone has to go the online vendor route, the bare minimum is third party testing, and I mean an independent lab, not the vendor's own in house results. Ask for a certificate of analysis on the actual batch, not a generic one from the product page. A vendor with no verifiable track record is a coin flip.

- Peptide safety after surgery, what are we actually seeing side effect wise
Still think we need actual human trial data beyond one small Phase I before calling any of this settled, anecdotal reports aren't causal evidence.

- Can I take them orally or do they have to be injected?
Topical GHK-Cu has decades of human data behind it, way more than the injectable route ever will.

- Will peptides interfere with my anesthesia or post-op medications?
Is there any published mechanism data on GHK-Cu and NSAIDs specifically?

- Wolverine stack before shoulder surgery, worth it?
Is there any published data at all on the combination itself, not just each compound separately? I looked and came up empty.

- Are recovery peptides legal and FDA approved?
To add some dates to this, BPC-157 was on the Category 2 restricted compounding list from 2023 until it was removed in April 2026. An advisory committee then voted 8 to 6 in July 2026 to recommend it for the 503A compounding list, but that's a recommendation, not a rule yet. TB-500 followed the same exact timeline. Rulemaking usually takes 8 to 12 months so we're still waiting on the formal outcome.

- What's the standard dosage and cycle length for recovery?
Still think the forum reports are useful as signal but shouldn't be treated as protocol. Too many uncontrolled variables stacked on top of each other.

- Can I take them orally or do they have to be injected?
Anyone got real numbers on oral bioavailability beyond that 10 to 30 percent estimate floating around?

- What's the standard dosage and cycle length for recovery?
Genuine question, is anyone tracking outcomes systematically or is it all individual reports? The dosing everyone quotes traces back to weight based numbers from rat studies and that conversion to humans is shaky at best.
