I've worked in the fitness industry since 1990, splitting my time between two different countries over the years. After studying physical education in college, I earned an international personal training certification and later became one of the first in my country to complete an exclusive advanced certification only a handful of trainers worldwide have achieved. I served for a year in a military police unit before moving fully into fitness, and I've since worked as a manager and trainer at a premium athletic club, modeled for magazines, and appeared on television talking about health and wellness.

- Wolverine stack before shoulder surgery, worth it?
Mostly scar and skin quality, not much for tendon.

Running one at a time is the only way you learn your own response, brother.

- How soon after surgery can I start taking peptides
Appreciate the input everyone, going with week two and keeping the surgeon looped in.

- How soon after surgery can I start taking peptides
Update, we are going to wait until week two per his surgeon's clearance before starting anything.

- Different peptides for graft healing vs tendon vs incision scarring?
I've seen too many people think the peptide replaces the work. No injection fixes a joint that isn't being loaded properly.

Fair point. For an ACL hamstring graft specifically, is there a reason to wait longer than a typical tendon repair given the revascularization process?

- How soon after surgery can I start taking peptides
I have a client, a former footballer, who is two days out from an ACL reconstruction with a hamstring graft. He is asking me about starting BPC-157 and maybe TB-500 right away to speed the healing. I have used both compounds myself for soft tissue over the years but never this close to a surgical date. My instinct says wait for the acute inflammatory window to pass, but I have read some practitioners start within the first week to catch the early proliferative phase. What have you seen in practice, does starting early actually change the trajectory or is it better to let the first 48 to 72 hours do their job untouched.

- How do you find a PT who doesn't just hand you a theraband and say good luck?
In Europe we learned decades ago that a tendon needs heavy mechanical tension to stimulate collagen synthesis. If you aren't loading it to near capacity, you are just massaging a symptom. Ask if they use heavy eccentrics and isometric holds.

- What blood work are you guys actually running alongside peptides?
Elevated CRP just means you trained hard or slept poorly the night before the draw. Don't chase ghosts in lab sheets while the joint is actively healing.

- How do you know when conservative rehab has failed and surgery is the move?
Six months is warm-up time for chronic wrist connective tissue. You are cutting the cycle off right when the actual remodeling phase starts.

You're overthinking it. If you pin BPC and TB for a torn tendon, basic CBC and liver enzymes are enough. Half the people here spend more money on blood tubes than on the actual peptides.

- Pain moved from my Achilles to my calf, is this compensation or something else?
That's overthinking it. It's just trigger points from the calf finally firing properly after weeks of guarding. Get on a hard foam roller and keep the load going.
